Help save Letters and Numbers

Surely to God SBS management can see that over 4000 people are furious and upset with their banal, insipid, idiotic decision. This just shows, as others have stated, that Australia is dumbing down at a rapid pace. If we are entertained by "The Great Race" or some other cretinous twaddle, I fear for the intellectual capabilities of Australians. The Big Bang Theory and other crap does not stimulate the mind. Lily, David and Richard are dignified, respectful, informative and amusing. Rethink this decision by an obviously insane board and make another series of Letters and Numbers. Did nobody think it odd that for two months we were having repeats anyway, I excitedly thought I was viewing a grand final between Naween Fernandez and Andrew Fisher -- it had been on last year; so stop treating your viewers like idiots and come clean. Destination Flavour has no potential viewer from me, and another cooking programme is 99 too many. SBS you have NO RESPECT for your viewing public; that is what it comes down to. Put L and N back on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How could you do this, SBS? Every one of all ages (especially the school children) love this educational and enjoyable program. Please think again and start a new series. When you are on a good thing, why not stick to it?

From the first moment i saw this show I loved it! Playing for pride, genius from the experts, there's nothing like it on telly. Please keep it going.

I have heard you are going to replace this show with a British substitute. How appaling, your brilliant Australian cast deserve better and so do your viewers. This is one of the most stimulating and ejoyable shows on TV and you have decided to axe it. Please reconsider your decision and bring back the Australian version.

Please do not axe this show ... it is excellent for the ageing population in that we use our brains to solve the words and numbers with Lily, David and Richard and of course the amazing contestants. We need this show! Not an English version!

Why on earth would you want to axe such a wonderful and popular show? definitely one of the best on TV. If I wasn't going to be home I would record it,its so good.
Surely if one or more of your wonderful trio needs a break, please replace them and keep going.If you look very hard I am sure you could find and other Lily and David, maybe not quite as good, but better than axing the show. As for Richard, he lives a holiday down here in the lovely south coast, so surely he can keep doing his great job.

What brain dead individuals do we have running this network? This show is cheap to produce, is pure Australian content, and is a great lead in to the news. Hope for a change of heart but won't hold my breath. I think an honest statement from the SBS MD is in order.

I'm not a tv junkie, but L and Ns was the only show I always watched and taped if I was going out. Bring it back!
