There are no more new comments on the SBS website since 04 Jul 2012 | 10:53 AEST. WHY?
Even though I have previously made a plea for the return of "Letters and Numbers" on this web site and the SBS site, I feel I have a lot more to express and will. Firstly I would like to know why there have not been any more comments displayed on the SBS web site since 04 Jul 2012 | 10:53 AEST. WHY?? Could someone please tell me? I attempted to place a comment on the SBS site yesterday but I seriously doubt it will be displayed.

Letters and Numbers
What a delightful program; the courtesy and charm that all display to the other is unparalleled and in itself is a lesson not to be dismissed lightly.

not to mention the mental workout that one experiences every day or at least every week day which is vital for us more mature people.
why has this most popular and elevating program been ditched???

Letters & Numbers!
Bring it back! the only show which includes letters, numbers and an attractive woman at the same time!!!

Plus my friend Amelia has been crying like a little girl all day because no longer can she get a free education through such quality television after being kicked out of school! Bring it back for Amelia!

Save Letters and Numbers!!
Please bring the beloved Letters and Numbers back to the SBS schedule!!!
It is the only television program the stimulates the brain functioning at all ages. How unaustralian does SBS want to be by cancelling an inexpensive, Australian show for a UK one. I am disgusted and appaulled by this decision and I want Lily, David and Richard's antics back!
Sbs you should be ashamed.

'Resting' Letters & Numbers
Email sent to SBS today:
I was both shocked and extremely disappointed today when I heard (on the TV discussion segment on ABC Melbourne 774 radio) about the demise of Letters & Numbers. I have only been watching the show for a few months, but it very quickly became an integral part of my weekday evenings, with the added benefit of exposure to information about other SBS programs, and a great lead-in to SBS World News. As many other fans have commented on the show’s webpage, it was both entertaining and educational, produced locally, and with very personable presenters. I would like to add my voice to those expressing dismay and concern about the decision to ‘rest’ the program. At the moment I am enjoying the SBS coverage of Le Tour de France, but once it is finished, without my regular evening episode of Letters & Numbers to watch, I will likely revert to being only an occasional SBS viewer.
I sincerely hope that the ‘rest’ is only a very brief nap, and that production can resume ASAP!

letters and numbers
A staggering misjudgment on the part of SBS. Our evening revolved around our 6pm date in front of letters and numbers.
Back to the ABC for us.

Letters and Numbers
I am appalled that SBS has decided to discontinue Letters and Numbers, a particularly good companion to dinner preparation or pre-dinner drinks. The intelligent and entertaining stimulus the show provides is unequalled on our television networks where the inane pap of reality shows abounds. Surely there is nothing wrong with a show that pleasantly, even happily, promotes brain activity for all ages. SBS has seriously misjudged the wide support for this programme. Please bring it back!

bring back L&N
There's a big void around 6pm now. Please bring it back and let us enjoy viewing Lily, David and Richard work their L & N.

Bring back Lily!!!
Best show on TV, interactive and educational... Only opportunity to exercise the brain - how different to the commercial offerings.
Please bring it back.
