Help save Letters and Numbers

Shame SBS, an intelligent and entertaining programme where the participants are excellent role models for the younger generation. No greed, no violence, no self-serving behaviour etc.

Don't axe this intelligent, well-run and entertaining show. why not publicise a bit wider, e.g. The Age Green Guide that contestants are required.

What are you thinking? A simple show yet intrigueing and stimulating. Lily is a joy and so quick, David is full of quirkiness and the contestants are great. My soon to be 84 year old mother and I watch it every day where possible. It is one of the very few shows that I try not to miss. If it is being axed on the grounds of elitism, it is the hardest games show pn telly, please think again. If it is thought to be too slow, speed it up but please don't axe it

For heavens sake, it's one of the most enjoyable programs on TV. Wouldn't miss it. Don't let it go, SBS.

Weeknights would not be the same without L and N. A truly fun and Australian show with genuine warmth and heart. Our kids love it too and the academic balanced with the interesting is not found anywhere else. Richard, David and Lily are like family- genuine and funny. We learn and laugh! Ease SBS keep it on air!!

Please dont axe this programme. Here is something we can all watch "productively' not as couch potatoes and actually talk about it and do our bit too. A fabulous way to compete and LEARN too. Please change your mind.

Letters and Numbers, like the British Countdown, is brilliant for the intellectual challenge it provides. But it has turned out to be much much more for us, Lily and David were new to the TV screen, and they turned out to be brilliant. David has a great breadth of knowledge in wordplay, English words and especially Australian culture, and tells his snippets with wit. Lily constantly astounds with her brilliance and looks and personality. Being produced in Australia has given us opportunity to take part as contestants and audience members and see people we know on our screens.

Please reinstate it SBS, while David, Lily and Richard are still available. And don't change the format. Except only to occasionally have a junior series open to schoolchildren as contestants. 

I have seen every episode since day 1. Can't believe I won't ever hear Lily again say, "Starting with the smalls...". Sad and shameful decision SBS.
