Dear SBS,
This crazy axing is another way of dumbing down the country. This extremely enjoyable and educational fun game should be returned to the screen IMMEDIATELY along with the brilliant and charming Lily.

A wonderful program that encourages us all to use our BRAINS!
I love it! Please no more cooking shows, reality rubbish, gruesome crime and "talent shows". I'm so bloody sick of having so little choice - Letters and Numbers is a light in the darkness amongst so much rubbish.

I rejoice in the chance to gossip with friends and relatives about this worthy program, and its French origin "Lettres et Chiffres".....it is exquisitely civilized, and edifying as well as b eing charming, and a showcase for ordinary intelligent people...please don't "axe" it!

WHY WHY??
Please please bring it back. This program was about the only thing on TV worth watching. A FANTASTIC way to get the mind working. One of a kind. please please.

What do we want? Letters and Numbers! When do we want it? Now!
A cooking show is no consolation and it wouldn't interest me in the slightest.

No real answers yet from SBS management
Over the last week or two, I've fired off a couple of emails to SBS asking for a coherent, believable explanation for the show's demise. And I've just had a reply from an "Audience Relations Leader", regurgitating the same old drivel that you can see on the L&N website. Clearly, SBS management is not yet willing to explain, let alone reverse, this appalling decision.
