Help save Letters and Numbers

Letters and Numbers is a great way for we "oldies" to exercise our grey matter. It is a fabulous, quality show. Lily, David and Richard are a great team and like the old ad once said ...."when you're on a good thing stick to it.." Please, please, please SBS dont take this good thing away.

Australia needs more literate, numerate, polite and erudite people. And this show is a marvelous model for all of those things. Please keep it.

WHY, SBS? This is shameless!! (and I suppose you'll be taking that off next???) Please keep this very good AUSTRALIAN production going - it is a classy and entertaining program not only watching the contestants come up with quick and correct answers, but for us viewers the chance to exercise our speed to match or equal them. And then there's the very distinguished Richard Morcroft who is very ably assisted by Lily offering interesting ways to work the numbers and David explaining the origins of words and their meanings. WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU, SBS? Think about your viewers and what they want.

Dear SBS,

Please reconsider your decision to axe L&N, its one of the best shows on Australian television.
David, Richard and Lily are great role models and it really is a positive program that the whole family can watch. I know that I watch it with my parents and grandfather who is 96, and is still sharp as a tack. Please, please don't axe this show, Australian television is severely lacking in shows of substance, don't dumb us down anymore.

I've just started watching the show.
I love the word mixes.
And what else is there to watch at 6pm?

We are going to have to make up our own letters in the future if Letters and Numbers is taken off the air. That's going to be the reality if it is no longer on TV.

This is a fabulous show that allows all generations to share together in an interactive activity. It stimulates the mind and is a great asset for children as well.My dad is 92 and loves the show. Please listen to the viewers -there are are very few shows if any that fill this need. Do not replace it by an overseas game show. Let us foster Australian talent and keep the SBS audience happy!

Yes it's dorky beyond belief. Yes, it's so well mannered that it would make Clark Kent look like a louse. Yes, it's so repetitive that you can set your clock by it. Yes, they all look like accountants. And yet it is, once appreciated, a sporting marvel. The final series are just as exciting as a swimming final. Keep it.

Please don't take off one of the only decent shows around.No more dumbing downb please.
