Help save Letters and Numbers

What an outrage!! What barbarian thought they could axe such a brilliant show with impunity?? L&N is a show that appeals to school pupils and uni yobs, right through to the blue-rinse set, without profanity, perfidy or pusillanimous persuasion!!

Surely there is a place on our screens for this beautifully simple, yet devilishly crafty program??

Or do the bean-counters get away with yet another slash-n-burn in the SBS budget? I hope not; like, who wants to, like, live in a world of brain-dead bogans and bimbos, like??

Don't cancel Letters and Numbers, cancel the soccer.

Letters and Numbers is a great show and I know so many people who watch it every night they can - and love it. It's a great change from the usual game shows - and it's Australian. It must stay!

This show has been a refreshing change in TV programming. Please retain this show and keep up the variety on SBS. You and Aunty are the only reason I own a Television.

This show is a great lead up to the news, and the comperes and pleasant and smart. I love the fact it's simple, non-materialistic fun which creates a great contrast and a relief from many of our society's more popularist values. Please don't get rid of this show, it's a breath of fresh air.

Please reconsider axing the program.Between us there is over 120 of learning and Letters and numbers is cheapest medicine to ward off dementia!

SBS Please reconsider Letters and Numbers, it is the best show on TV, in fact it is one of the few shows worth watching.
Educational, entertaining and Intelligent with great hosts, the type of show we have come to expect from SBS.
Please reinstate the show.

A show with possibly the smallest production costs and highest loyalty numbers is axed by SBS.
Federal Parliament need to be debating this, this week. My M.P will be hearing about this. I suggest the ground swell against this decision will heard across the nation.

Having watched Letters and Numbers after one of my teachers mentioned he would be on it, I've thoroughly enjoyed the mental competition and the great chemistry between the three hosts. The show has boosted my vocabulary (GALOSHES and CALUMET come to mind), taught me some really good mental maths techniques, and just seems to be the kind of show a person can easily enjoy with their family, as many others have noticed. It's really saddening to see it go, there have been many great personalities on this show, and the banter between the three hosts on everything from buttons to 'pure' mathematics to flowery shirts and ties has really added to the atmosphere. Just as importantly, I felt that this was a unique show amongst Australian-produced shows, simple but high-quality and family-friendly. SBS, please reconsider this decision, as I hope you see how many people have enjoyed Letters and Numbers through its time on television.
