Help save Letters and Numbers

For gods sake L & N is about the only shining light of intelligence in a television world that is largely mind numbingly crass and lacking in both mental stimulation and/or entertainment.

SBS - say it isn't so! Please don't axe L & N especially as it's my daughter's 17th birthday today (what a horrible present!) Our household NEEDS L & N - where else can geeks, nerds and dorks gather on a weekday afternoon with their fellow geeks etc for a bit of number and letter fun?

COME ON SBS, Your programming is about cultural diversity, social inclusion and should not be based on commercial outcomes. This program is a must watch to so many, me included. DONT AXE THIS>

L and N is one element of intelligence among many trivialities and commercial rubbish on TV. Please keep L and N running with its excellent crew of presenters.

YO RICHARD MORECROFT IS THE SHIT BITCHES

This programme should not be axed but suggest it be shown 3 days a week not 5. At the moment there is perhaps a bit too much. It is however the only quiz type show worth watching on Australian TV!

When Letters and Numbers went to air we at last were given a programme that was extremely enjoyable as well as being wonderfully enjoyable and the dearth of GOOD television content was addressed.

For me it is compulsory viewing and my night starts with this fabulous programme. There is enough abundant rubbish on television and to find one that is thought provoking and does not irritate in its inanity is fantastic. I say thank you to SBS every night for this intelligent viewing and it would be absolutely tragic if it does not continue. Why, oh why would SBS even consider taking off the one programme that has gained SBS so many dedicated viewers? And viewers that THINK instead of just catering for the non thinking masses.

Why is "cleverness" condemmed in Australia

L& N is the only "must watch" show in our household. My husband & I compete against each other with our own special scoring system.
Bonus points are awarded if we get the same word as David. I wish that my high school English teacher had been as entertaining as David....I may have actually paid attention.
When we solve the maths problem with a "tweak", we call it Lily method & award bonus points. A "kitchen sink" also earns bonus points.
PLEASE SBS admit your error in judgement & continue producing this wonderful Australian show.
