Help save Letters and Numbers

There needs to be MORE smart people on commercial television.. not less..

Letters and Numbers is such a simple and effective format for a TV show. Just as the popularity of QI has proven, a simple format engages the audience that doesn't require bells and whistles to get them entertained.

Australian television is a wasteland at the best of times - don't add to it by getting rid of such a top show!!!

Please bring back the delightful Letters and Numbers which is a "can't miss" in our house. It is one of the rare programmes on TV which stimulates the mind,educates and entertains at the same time, attributes hard to find and should be nurtured.

A show that appeals to whole families, can be shown at any time, has increasing numbers of loyal fans, and can be produced relatively cheaply, locally. Why, oh why would you get rid of this, with the well loved David, Richard and Lily? Please allow us our local version.

We couldn't believe that tonight is the last episode of Letters & Numbers. Since discovering it a few months ago, we watch it every night and keep improving our vocabulary and math skills. It is very good for an active brain and for families a great way to compete.
Maybe SBS could try a different time slot - like 7.30pm for instance. This might prove more successful for them.
We love the SBS team, especially Lily Serna.
Please, please, don't put on a cooking show in it's place!

How can they take such a fantastic show off the air. Bring it back!

My family have loved Letters and Numbers since it began and it was a great shock to find out it has been cancelled. The idea of replacing this with the UK counterpart is a terrible one as we've grown to know and love the L&N team and it just wouldn't be the same.

SBS, you have failed this time! :(

Please re consider the decision to stop this show. My son is almost two and Letters and Numbers has played a large part in helping him learn the alphabet. He repeats the letter when Lily posts it. I'm sure it is also helping keep many idle minds active including mine.
