Help save Letters and Numbers

'Letters and Numbers' is an awesome show that is stimulating and informative. When I heard about the axing I was so disappointed that a show of this calibre would be axed yet really dumb reality shows like 'Big Brother' (which is making a return to our TV's) and that Lara Bingle show reign our screens I am starting to lose my faith not only in the programming people but in the human race

L&N is the only real show on TV, the only reason to turn it on most days. And how smart do we feel when we get an answer before a contestant does? We will never be as beautiful or clever as Lily,but what a role model,and so unaffected and I curse DA for his crosswords, but what a mind! Of course, being natural and clever and geeky-funny will probably not be enough to keep their spot on SBS. Maybe Lily could wear more racy clothing, and DA could get a ghost comedy writer, and RM could stop laughing at his own jokes but then it would be like all the other shows on tele. Yuck.

I am also writing on behalf of a dedicated viewer, my 96 year old father, who does not miss an episode. To keep his mind active he does cryptic crosswords and Sodoku. Letters and numbers helps him to stay sharp.

L&N is the only show I watch regularly! It has also become a show I watch with friends who would otherwise not be challenging their brains this way, and they have become regular watchers too! L&N is a great show, the hosts are the humble, their sense of dry, joyously cheesy humour is unbeaten.. It's format makes it easy access for a wide range of viewers. Twice a day isn't even enough! I don't know what I'd do without L&N, please don't cancel the show SBS! p.s. Richard and David will be out of careers ;)!

Really, who decides what TV shows stay & what TV shows get axed?? SBS how's your Australian content ?
I love Letters & Numbers, Richard - a gentleman, David - genuine, amazing knowledge of words and the gorgeous Lily - popped out of uni onto our tv screens to share her passion for numbers - a great role model for girls!!!!!
Please don't fail us SBS....

I am so shocked that this brilliant show is finishing! Our whole family has their 'LAN' exercise book ready for 6pm each night. There is finally a show worth watching on TV (which I can't imagine takes a great deal of the budget), and it's being axed. It's a sad day when the Bingles reign supreme, and a fabulous, intellectually stimulating show such as Letters and Numbers leaves us.

Please don't axe Letters and Numbers. It's such a brilliant and intellectually stimulating Australian program, a rare commodity in Australian television these days. Lilly, David and Richard are fantastic hosts, and the fun and stimulating challenges provide such a great entertainment each weeknight. Letters and Numbers is the one show I never miss. It's not only older people who enjoy the show either, both myself and my boyfriend watch the show, both of us in our twenties. Though Countdown is a similar program, it will not match L and M as it is lacking the charm and the personality provided the unique Australian flavor provided by the hosts of L and M.
Letters and Numbers is great Australian television and it would be such a shame to see it taken off air.

Please save L&N .. My 3yo watches with me and always ask me if I got the solutions!! I even record it daily just incase I miss it.

Crikey....we will have to go back to watching Tracey Grimeshaw...!!!
I plan my dinner around the time slot so we can sit, eat,drink, and watch.

I love letters and numbers. Keep it on tele. What is your reasoning behing axing it????
