Letters and Numbers
It was with absolute dismay that I have learned of the sabbatical (read "axing") of L and N. Nowhere else can one get a small dose of entertaining and stimulating mind game on television. I watch in anticipation of the conundrum with hand hovering over imaginary buzzer in an attempt to beat the contestants. And it is Australian, using our own dictionary with no doubt words that you may not necessarily find in the Oxford used in the GB version. SBS has made a huge mistake on this one. Reconsider.

Why the axing?
It is quite disappointing to see that SBS is ending Letters and Numbers. I have been watching the program fairly religiously since its inception and cannot imagine that there would be a more appropriate or enjoyable program that could replace it in the 6pm timeslot. I have even gone on to purchase the L&N puzzlebooks!

Perhaps there would be a place for it on SBS2?????

This show is a proven winner. We find it hard to comprehend why it would be cancelled. We certainly will not be watching the replacement scheduled programs!! Please please please SBS reconsider your decision :(:(

Letters & Numbers
It seems very short-sighted to axe such an enjoyable show. Watching an overseas version will not have anything like the same appeal. (And it's not as if you have to pay big bucks in prizes!)

Surely it is not true!
My day is not complete without watching L&N. I agree wholeheartedly that is one of very few programmes on TV worth watching. It is stimulating, educational and something every teenage school student should be watching. The three hosts are entertaining and most knowledgeable. Please bring it back on as soon as possible.

Axing an immensely popular Australian-made show is a pretty dumb idea. It was one of the few worthwhile pieces of programming on television. No doubt SBS will use the money it has saved to buy in yet another racy foreign film about an eastern European girl's drama-laden sexual awaking. Pathetic.

Lilly rules, SBS Middle Management drools.
