Help save Letters and Numbers

Come on everyone save Letters and Numbers.

Boo, SBS! What a shame to cancel such a wonderful, entertaining and mentally stimulating (not to mention Australian) show! I, and many others I know, want to see more Letters & Numbers, not the UK equivalent.

but i have been trying to enter for ages and loving competing with the TV. David Richard and Lilly totally rock, I bet you could run a traveling LN show in pubs around australia..........I would pay to see that ! and compete in it too any body reckon this is a good idea "a traveling L and N" show?

Come on guys don't axe this show it's delightful! I love nothing more than to watch wholesome, intellectual competition, which Letters and Numbers provides in spades. If this show is cancelled, a void in my heart will be left in its wake. I'll have to go back to watching Ramsay's Kitchen and Judge Judy to get the same adrenaline rush.

Words and puzzles are our life and joy! SBS had a winning combination, or so we thought. Our teenage son joined us to watch it and he often whipped us. It was educational, fun and funny and very Australian.

What a short sighted decision this is to take Letters and Numbers off our screens. Why would we be the slightest bit interested in watching English contestants and English presenters? The enjoyment in the show is the fact that it is intelligent and is very Australian. SBS - you have just lost another viewer. There is no need for me to switch to the SBS channel anymore.

I should clarify...Why has the best show on TV been canned? I was very sad and disappointed when I was away for only two days and came back to find that Letters and Numbers was not on anymore. I seriously look forward to watching it every weeknight at 6pm and I am at a loss as what to do with myself now. It is one of the only shows where you are required to use your brain and it has something for everyone. Lilly, David and of course Richard are wonderful hosts and are all so great at their jobs. Our brains are already rotting from all the drivel that is on TV. Please bring back Letters and Numbers, I beg you...for goodness sake... pretty please?!!!

SBS how could you? This is great educational family entertainment that is all about the challenge and not about some grand prize. Please rethink your decision. And why would we want to watch the English version if there's no Richard, David or Lily !
