Help save Letters and Numbers

I am really sad to see that letters and numbers has been axed for a foreign import. Not a very expensive show to produce I would have thought, and a really excellent and educative (is that a word David Astle?) show. Even my 9 year old loves to do both the letters and numbers quizzes. She even asks me to make some up for her. Bring it BACK!

That'd be right: take the most perfect little show you've got - a locally produced show - and axe it, replacing it with a foreign import. Way to go, SBS!

If L&N stops, I will have no reason to keep going to the Gym! On the plus side, it would save the other gym patrons from my loud outbursts every time I see a longer word than one of the contestants.

Letter and Numbers or Deal or No Deal? Puh..lease, SBS, do the math!

I've been looking for a TV show like Letters & Numbers for a long time, it's such an interesting show and I love the hosts Richard, David and especially Lily, it is extremely entertaining and very well structured for a 30 minute program.

I'll be extremely disappointed if Letters & Numbers does end up being cancelled. Please don't let it happen.

SBS please reconsider cancelling letters & numbers. We are both shattered to hear this great educational program has been dumped. my grey cells have been reinvigorated since watching. It has been great to watch the presenters "gel" over time.. PLEASE PLEASE dont do it SBS :!:!

I normally watch the 3pm version of this show and I am just about to cry because I have just heard that my favourite show has been cancelled... :(

We've been watching L & N since it began and enjoy it enormously. Richard, David and Lily make such a great team, with friendly repartee yet none of the silly ego-based humour found in some other quiz shows. The format works well, there have been some great contestants, and we love trying to make words and the number totals. Please bring it back - we look forward to that time slot each weekday!

I think Letters and Numbers is the most thoughtful and entertaining show on Australian television. It's one of the rare game shows that rewards genuine intelligence, and it encourages viewers to get involved and play along like few others. Since I've been watching, my language and mathematical skills have improved noticeably. I also find David's daily word explanation detailed, interesting and educational. Please don't take all of this away from us
