Help save Letters and Numbers

What will I do to keep memory loss at bay if they axe this wonderful show! David, Lily and Richard are a great trio - contestants amazing! Keeps my brain cells ticking over!!

So sad this show is coming to an end. My youngest daughter, now 12, has always loved this show. For her, numbers and words are fun because of this fantastic program. I'm sad that another good quality show is being axed from our television viewing.

Lily is inspiring and intelligent - not many of those on tv - mad to close the show.

I have auditioned to be on the show and now it seems I won't get the chance to do so. Very disappointing. It's a great show that even my teenage kids love, and is great for younger kids to improve numbers and vocab skills. Whilst I'm sure Countdown will be great, why can't we have both?

I have come to love this show, and actively play the games along with the contestants (not as well....yet!).
It is a real challenge.

I am disappointed that the show is being put on ice (rather than being cancelled hopefully). I guess we'll get the standard SBS rejection letter advising the reasons, that they are replacing it with Countdown etc.

But a lot of what I love about the show is David, Lily and Richard. I am constantly amazed at how David and Lily are often able to match or do better than the contestants in the 30 sec time limit.

SBS you are on a winner. Don't blow it!

I was devestated to hear the show had been axed. I have watched it everyday since day 1. I dont like game show and this is the exception for me. Lilly is just the best. Every game is a challenge and I personally enjoy the boost to my brain function

L&N is one of those shows which proves that television doesn't need to be crass, inane or controversial to be engaging and enjoyable content. If SBS were to remove the program, they would be the lesser for it.

A show worth watching, fun and educational.
Plus it is a battle to keep up with my son now...

Myriad are the reasons for viewers' love for this intelligent show. It's not just the Lily factor! There's the absence of the artifice and pretentiousness of "reality" TV shows; there's the uncontrived suspense; the gentle rivalry between arithmetic and vocabulary; there's the family-friendly educational factor. There is the gorgeous Lily, one has to say. May we have more L&N and not just repeats please?
