Axing or So-called "Resting" of L&N.
I cannot believe that you, an Australian Tax-payer funded Station are replacing top Australian TV product with a foreign, no doubt cheap, version. And you have the cheek to say it is "Resting".
You rested it last time for the French Bike Race, we suffered in silence, not finding any stimulation, watching miles of Bikes for Hours & Hours. It was nice that an Aussie eventually won it, but did little for the many fans of L & N.
Is British better, or does Australian Cringe still reign at SBS. Please re-consider.

"Resting" of Letters & Numbers
You have left a gaping hole in my life. My wife & I, both aging somewhat live for Letters & Numbers each night. If absent we record it and play at our own convenience. It keeps our brains active, as we countenance the possibilities of the big A. We admire Lily and David and the Contestants, great Australian Role-models. Why do you have to exhibit the great Australian Cringe by bringing in an inferior foreign show? Shame!

Please bring back Letters and Numbers.
Terribly disappointed tonight June 29th to find Letters and Numbers has ceased. How could you axe such an enjoyable and intellectually challenging program! A show in a suitable time-slot for parents and their school age children. A presentation format that is quite unique these days for it values polite manners and respects participants, and appreciates the English language. It's interesting to hear David's comments on the origins of words and to marvel at Lily's solutions. A show you want your children to see.

Shame on SBS !
Letters and Numbers - an oasis in a desert of trash. Thank you, SBS, for dumping more trash on us. For our whole family, from 6-year-old granddaughter upwards, weekday evenings will never be the same again. it seems the geniuses who run SBS have been spooked by some good clean fun and (horror!) a little intellectual stimulus. Bring back Letters and Numbers!

Save L&N
Please reconsider this decision. Actually, please rescind this decision. It is our favourite family show. We love to watch it together, pen and notepad ready. We are constantly impressed by the mental agility of our sons. Where else on television are we to find such informative, fun, quirky and challenging brain food? Along with Richard, David and Lily, we have invited into our loungeroom hundreds of clever, funny and unassuming stars, whose skills and personalities we have loved.

Bring back L & N
Read these messages SBS honchos - people of all ages love L&N! We have watched it with our two sons (8 and 10) since it began, and it has to be the most reliably entertaining, challenging and charming show on TV. We love the fact that people compete for the enjoyment of the game - a dictionary, really? Surely it can't be too expensive to produce. BRING BACK L&N!

Shame on SBS
Very sad to learn SBS has axed Letters and Numbers - a show where young children have learned the letters of the alphabet from! The shame!

Letters & Numbers
My husband and I really enjoy this show; except for the yack session in the second segment.
We do the challenges in our heads and usually arrive at the same solutions as the contestants. It is a daily mental exercise which we will miss sorely.
Please bring back Letters & Numbers!!!
